오늘 알아 볼 표현은 길을 물어보고 알려주는 표현에 대해서 알아보기로 하겠습니다. 이러한 표현들은 외국에 나가서도 많이 쓰이지만, 한국에 있어도 외국인들을 만나면 자주 사용하게 되는 표현들이니 이 표현들만 알아도 외국인 보고 도망가는 일은 없어질 거에요.

 

Chapter 34. Asking for directions

Excuse me, can you help me with directions?	실례합니다만, 길 좀 가르쳐 주시겠어요?
I'm looking for the museum, do you know where it is?	박물관을 찾고 있는데, 어디에 있는지 아시나요?
Can you tell me how to get to the hotel?	호텔에 어떻게 가는지 알려주실 수 있나요?
Is there a pharmacy around here?	이 근처에 약국이 있나요?
Which way should I go to get to the park?	공원으로 가려면 어느 쪽으로 가야 하나요?
Could you give me directions to the restaurant?	식당으로 가는 길을 가르쳐 주시겠어요?
I'm lost, can you help me find my way to the train station?	제가 길을 잃어버렸는데, 기차역으로 가는 길을 좀 도와주시겠어요?
How far is the library from here?	도서관은 여기서 얼마나 멉니까?
Do you know where the nearest gas station is?	가장 가까운 주유소가 어디 있는지 아세요?
Can you show me on a map how to get to the mall?	쇼핑몰에 어떻게 가는지 지도로 보여 주시겠어요?
Is the grocery store within walking distance from here?	식료품점이 여기서 걸어갈 수 있는 거리에 있나요?
Can I get there by public transportation?	대중교통으로 갈 수 있나요?
Which train do I need to take to get to city hall?	시청으로 가려면 어떤 기차를 타야 하나요?
Is it easy to find parking near the beach?	해변 근처에 주차장을 찾는 것은 쉬운가요?
Are there any landmarks I should look out for on the way to the airport?	공항 가는 길에 봐야 할 랜드마크가 있나요?
Can you give me step-by-step directions to the office?	사무실로 가는 길을 단계별로 알려 주시겠어요?
Do I need to turn left or right to get to the stadium?	경기장에 가려면 왼쪽으로 돌아야 하나요, 아니면 오른쪽으로 돌아야 하나요?
How long does it take to get to the zoo?	동물원까지 얼마나 걸리나요?
Could you repeat the directions again, please?	경로를 다시 한 번 말씀해 주시겠어요?

Chapter 35. Giving directions to someone

Go straight ahead.	곧장 앞으로 나가시오.
Turn right at the corner.	모퉁이에서 오른쪽으로 도세요.
It's on your left.	왼쪽에 있답니다.
Keep walking until you see a hotel.	호텔이 보일 때까지 계속 걸어가세요.
Take the third street on your right.	오른쪽 세 번째 길로 가세요.
Go past the post office.	우체국을 지나서 가세요.
Cross the street.	길을 건너세요.
Walk down this street until you reach bank.	이 길을 따라 은행에 도착할 때까지 걸어가세요.
It's just around the corner.	얼마 안 남았습니다.
You'll see it on your left.	왼쪽에 보일 거예요.
It's a few blocks from here.	여기서 몇 블록 떨어져 있어요.
You can't miss it.	놓치면 안 돼요.
Take the train to stadium station.	기차를 타고 경기장 역으로 가세요.
Follow the signs to square.	표지판을 따라 광장으로 가세요.
Head towards the temple.	사원 쪽으로 가세요.
The hotel is at the end of this street.	그 호텔은 이 거리의 끝에 있다.
Turn around and go back the way you came.	돌아서 왔던 길로 돌아가세요.
It's in the direction of mall.	몰 방향에 있어요.
Just keep going straight until you reach bridge.	다리에 도착할 때까지 계속 직진하세요.
You're getting close, it's just up ahead.	거의 다 왔어요. 바로 앞에 있어요.
